Guidelines for receiving criticism

A good manager is open to feedback from their staff and sometimes this feedback is negative.

Because a manager is in a position of power over staff, they need to recognise that staff give negative feedback very reluctantly.

So take the feedback appropriately or you will stop getting it – to the detriment of everyone!
